A low-rise minimalist building with tall vertical stone slabs sits atop a cracked arid salt flat under a soft pale hazy sky.

Desert Museum on Sunlit Arid Salt Flat

The pale sandstone facade of the building blends harmoniously with the surrounding arid desert landscape. Its low horizontal base with floor-to-ceiling glass windows opens onto a wide open paved courtyard, while sharp vertical stone forms divide the upper two symmetrical blocks. Erosion patterns on the adjacent rocky hill echo the natural weathering of the site.
