I'm Hale. I built ImageMythos, and I write every note in Editor's Picks myself.

There is no queue and no schedule: I go through the library, open what catches my eye, and only write something when I can say what the picture is good for. Most of what I look at does not make it — a technically clean render can still have nothing to say.

So the notes are specific about composition, light and mood instead of calling an image "beautiful", and I will happily point out the flaw that almost kept it out.
